Haus Barkhausen
Immerse yourself in the heyday of Monschau’s cloth-making industry. In 1785, the Scheibler family built another spacious villa here, next to the town’s landmark, the Red House: Haus Barkhausen with its adjoining coach house. You now have the exclusive opportunity to spend your vacation in one of four apartments in Haus Barkhausen. The antique furniture and portraits of ancestors on the walls bear witness to the splendor of a bygone era. A well-equipped modern kitchen with a dishwasher and fully automatic coffee machine is provided, as are comfortable box-spring beds, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. You can choose between the Cloth Maker Suite, the Bel Étage, the Rosenthal, and the Garden View Apartment.
Haus Stehlings
Your stay in Monschau couldn’t be more central than at Haus Stehlings. From most of the rooms, you can see Monschau’s main landmark: the Red House. The house is located on Stehlings, a narrow, short cobblestone street that ends directly in front of the Red House at one end and at the market square at the other.
You’ll find cafés and restaurants at the market square and also at the Red House. The half-timbered house itself has been lovingly renovated and furnished with many antique pieces. It sits right on the Rur River. A path begins behind the house, leading you to the Haller ruins. There, you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Monschau or follow the panoramic trail above the rooftops of our town.

Refugium Altstadt
Your stay in Monschau, right at the entrance to the old town! Experience this at Refugium Altstadt. The house is located on Stadtstraße, Monschau’s main shopping street with its shops and traditional restaurants. Monschau’s landmarks, the “Red House” and the market square, are also just a short walk away – simply down the street.
Like all our properties, this half-timbered house has been lovingly renovated and furnished with many antique pieces. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a fully equipped kitchen complete the offering.
Residenz Vier Jahreszeiten
At our Residenz Vier Jahreszeiten, you’ll experience Monschau in the heart of its medieval town center. The residence is located on Kirchstraße, the old town center of Monschau. The main street with its shops and restaurants is right next door, and Monschau’s landmark, the “Red House,” as well as the market square, are just a few steps away.
Like all our properties, the Residenz Vier Jahreszeiten has been lovingly renovated and furnished with many antique pieces – allowing you to choose your stay according to your preferred season. Each of the four apartments is themed with colors and furnishings reflecting the four seasons. An unforgettable experience! Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a fully equipped kitchen complete the wonderful offering.
Villa Eleganza
Villa Eleganza offers a truly luxurious experience. This house is also ideally suited for group travel. Located on a hillside very close to our house, Barkhausen, on the green outskirts of Monschau, it offers fantastic views of Monschau’s historic old town and the surrounding lush hillsides from several levels.
Villa Eleganza features an indoor swimming pool (8m x 4m x 1.4m), a sauna, and a large panoramic terrace.
The house is fully equipped with five toilets, three showers, a bathroom with a bathtub, five single sinks and one double sink, a kitchen with a dishwasher and induction cooktop with integrated extractor hood, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, plus a utility room with an extra-large refrigerator – leaving nothing to be desired!
Villa Rur
Villa Rur was built in 1913 and initially served as a ballroom for Monschau society. Later, it was used as a gymnasium. The previous owner lovingly and meticulously renovated the house. As a result, original gymnasium furnishings can be found throughout, some of which have been repurposed as furniture.
Villa Rur is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and excursions. In the evenings, the historic old town of Monschau, just a short walk away, invites you to stroll around, or you can end the evening in one of the many restaurants with charming terraces.
Villa Rur offers four spacious apartments for up to 14 people, making it well-suited for group trips!

Haus Ferdinand
In our charming Haus Ferdinand, you’ll spend your stay right in the heart of Monschau’s old town! The house is located at Am oberen Mühlenberg 10, a quaint cobblestone street that winds its way up the hill. Monschau’s landmarks, such as the “Red House” and the market square, are in the immediate vicinity – just down the street, a walk of what feels like a minute.
Like all our houses, this quaint, narrow house has been lovingly and tastefully renovated and furnished with stylish furniture. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a fully equipped kitchen complete the offering.
On the ground floor, you’ll find our communal kitchen with practical amenities such as a fully automatic coffee machine, a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, as well as dishes, cutlery, cups, and glasses. Breakfast is also served daily between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. in our breakfast room, also on the ground floor.
At Haus Ferdinand, we offer four cozy double rooms.
Arriving by bicycle? No problem! At Haus Ferdinand you can conveniently store your bicycles in the basement.
